Job description

This contract with our government client is for an Estates Officer for 6 months, based in Southampton - Full 5 days on site for 2 weeks induction, then 3 Days a week on site thereon after. The pay rate to candidate is £108.45 PAYE - £145.95 umbrella per day.  

 

Responsibilities:  

- Contribute to the guidance to operational teams to influence compliance with relevant policy, legislation and best practice.  

- Support the delivery of business plans.  

- Keep up to date on changing legislation and best practice externally, to make recommendations in the organisation.  

- Assist with the development of policies and processes and monitor and advise on effective implementation in the organisation.  

- Participate in projects, providing input to improve ways of working and organisational efficiency.  

- Build relationships with operational stakeholders to understand issues and provide effective responses.  

- Provide advice to others on policies, procedures, practices, and techniques.  

- Monitoring 500 sites across coast guards UK.  

- Populating docs and download docs on to Share point.  

- Monitor & deal with general task via generic mailbox, Work to SLA.

Requirements

Preferred Experience:  

- Experience in a similar administrative role within a corporate environment.  

- Previous experience handling statutory compliance documents.

- Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.  

- Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.  

- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.  

- Strong Excel skills  

- Work on your own initiative  

- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.  

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft word & Excel, pivot tables, and data visualisation tools.
