Job description
This contract with our central government client is for an Area Property Operations Manager for 5 months. Candidate must be based in within the South-West, and can choose one of the following locations as their base of operations with regular travel expected across the region (Driving License essential – Cars available for work travel via booking system), Exeter, Torquay, Taunton, Somerset, Barnstaple, Plymouth, Bridgwater, Bath.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of the facility, including security, maintenance, and other services.
- Ensure that the needs of the organisation, employees and visitors are met.
- Monitor and report on internal performance against safety, costs, and quality. Identify deviations and implement remedial actions as appropriate.
- Manage the preparation, approval and issue of technical specifications and safety documentation through review to implementation.
This role will be covering residential properties for the probation service, and contact with service users will be a possibility.
Requirements
• Be located within the region
• Experienced with Facilities Management (Hard and Soft FM)
• Ability to hit the ground running
• Knowledge of Building Standards & Compliance
• Experience with Supplier Management
• Tech Savvy (Office Suite, CAFM systems etc.)
• IWFM, IOSH, NEBOSH Would be beneficial
