Job description

Our client is a major design, engineering and project management consultancy who has been rapidly growing within various sectors and who is looking for multiple experienced professionals to join them on permanent basis. This role is for a Corporate Tax Accountant based in Warrington, it is a full time hybrid role with 2 days in the office and the rest from home. They are seeking someone who can hit the ground running and can investigate and challenge the information.  

 

Job Description:  

 

Some of the main responsibilities for this role include:  

- All aspects of UK corporate tax compliance – including preparation and submission of UK tax returns, fixed assets/capital allowance preparation, group loss relief claims, corporate interest restriction filings, CT61 quarterly filings and calculation/administration of UK quarterly instalment payments.  

- Calculation of the annual imputed interest for the UK group companies.  

- Preparation of relevant IFRS tax accounting disclosures for group reporting and subsidiary statutory accounts.  

- Assistance with tax forecasting.  

- Manage the process of obtaining the UK tax residency certificates from the UK Tax Authorities.  

- Liaise with Tax Authorities on general queries and correspondence.  

- Opportunity for involvement in ad hoc advisory matters including, R&D, transfer pricing, CFC, treaty clearance applications.

Requirements

- Minimum of either accountancy qualified ACA/ACCA or tax qualified CTA/ATT.  

- Accountancy qualified ACA/ACCA, tax qualified CTA/ATT  

- The candidates with extensive experience undergoing qualifications will be considered”  

- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, this will require you to flex your working hours at peak times throughout the tax year.
