Maritime Engineer

This role is for one of the biggest civil services consultancies, they are currently looking for an experienced Maritime Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis to support the delivery of numerous projects all across the UK and internationally. This role is located in Glasgow.  

Job Description:  

Some of the main responsibilities for this role include:  

- Support bid teams in preparing proposals and tenders.  

- Work as part of a team delivering projects to the highest standards.  

- Develop maritime engineering knowledge and share it with other members of the maritime team.

- 3-8 years of hands-on design experience in the field of maritime engineering.  

- Ability to identify and employ innovation in the development of design solutions.  

- Strong collaborative and network behaviours to interface with other disciplines.  

The individual:  

- High level of technical performance.  

- Able to generate innovative outcomes to challenges and follow them through.  

- Self-motivated towards personal development.  

- Good communication skills
