Maritime Engineer

This role is for one of the biggest civil services consultancies, they are currently looking for an experienced Maritime Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis to support the delivery of numerous projects all across the UK and internationally. This role is located in Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Derby, Exeter, or Swansea, and is flexible.  

Job Description:  

Some of the main responsibilities for this role include:  

- Support bid teams in preparing proposals and tenders.  

- Work as part of a team delivering projects to the highest standards.  

- Develop maritime engineering knowledge and share it with other members of the maritime team.

- 3-8 years of hands-on design experience in the field of maritime engineering.  

- Ability to identify and employ innovation in the development of design solutions.  

- Strong collaborative and network behaviours to interface with other disciplines.  

The individual:  

- High level of technical performance.  

- Able to generate innovative outcomes to challenges and follow them through.  

- Self-motivated towards personal development.  

- Good communication skills
