Job description

Our water client is currently seeking a Senior Water Treatment Engineer located in Worcestershire.  

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of all the company's water treatment systems. They will depend on you to use your initiative and experience ensure that installations run smoothly and efficiently as well as provide technical and logistical assistance to the technical account managers, engineers as well as business development team to help transform problematic and often complex opportunities into significant deals. You will be expected to be customer focused at all times and be able to interact with colleagues, management at all levels, customers and other trades in a professional and tactful manner.  

 

Key Responsibilities but not restricted to:  

• Install, commission and maintain the company's systems in your given area.  

• Oversee technical issues by the way of providing assistance immediately and following up with customer and/or relevant person to ensure the issue is resolved.  

• Ensure you are maintain your calendar efficiently  

• Provide support and co-operation to the management and to colleagues, and be prepared and willing to help and contribute to the success of the company at all times.  

• Manage, maintain and develop strong relationships with the customers  

• Work to achieve the company and customer water quality expectations simultaneously.  

• Explain the benefits of the company's systems, products and services.  

• Liaise with the Engineering, Product Development and Business development teams, as well as any other colleagues to communicate customer successes and issues.  

• Set a good example to colleagues by observing and obeying all company rules and regulations, adhering to health and safety guidelines as well as complying with all site regulations, and safeguarding company property.

Requirements

Skills:  

• Demonstrable and proven engineering skills  

• Must have previous pipework experience  

• Must possess excellent self-management, as well as organisational skills  

• Ability to cope within a fast-moving business environment  

• Ability to work effectively and calmly under pressure  

• Ability to think and act quickly under time constraints  

• Effective communication and writing skills  

• Effective people and relationship management skills  

• Ability to work well alone or within an ambitious team  

 

Knowledge, experience, skills, other attributes:  

• Water treatment experience essential  

• Positive Can-do attitude  

 

Soft skills: Passionate, Enthusiastic, Organised, Flexible, Motivated, Collaborative
