Job description

Our client is a Civil Engineering Company based in South Wales. Our client is looking for an Quantity Surveyor or recently Graduated Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice on the contractual, financial and legal aspects of construction projects, from the initial stages of design to the final completion. The Quantity Surveyor will also be responsible for estimating costs, managing budgets, and ensuring that all project deadlines are met. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation.  

 

Responsibilities:  

- Prepare and analyse cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.  

- Conduct cost analysis of materials, labour, and equipment.  

- Evaluate and recommend changes to improve cost efficiency.  

- Prepare bills of quantities and tender documents.  

- Monitor progress of works and report to clients.  

- Analyse changes in the scope of work and provide updated cost estimates.  

- Provide advice on contractual matters.  

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations.  

- The individual will receive full support and mentorship to ensure they are able to thrive and succeed in the role.
