Plumber

Our client is a Tier 1 contractor looking to hire several freelance plumbers and pipefitters in a live hospital environment. The right candidate will have experience in a similar role in a contractor setting and must have M&E, strong verbal communication and analytical skills.  

Duties:  

• Installing pipes and fixtures associated with heating, cooling and water distribution  

• Inspection of drainage and other plumbing systems  

• Work in collaboration with contractors, pipe fitters, electricians and construction workers  

• Follow health & safety guidelines  

• Mechanical & Electrical skills  

• Document and report problems and necessary actions taken  

• Keeping and maintaining records of time spent on job  

• Record materials purchased for work  

• Regular maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent emergencies  

• Ability to work on the weekends and night shifts when necessary

• Must be able to drive
