Quantity Surveyor (Contract)

Our client is a multi-discipline civil engineering contractor with many years’ experience delivering world class projects across the UK and they are currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for projects located in London.  

You must have a proven track record working in a similar role with a contractor. Career progression and stability of work on range of projects will be available.  

Some of the main duties for this role include:  

• Ensure accurate and time efficient reporting of project.  

• Update monthly CVR.  

• Help ensure that any main contracts entered into have terms and conditions that are appropriate for the company.  

• Identity commercial risks.  

• Ensure that the supply chain is engaged appropriately with the correct contract terms and conditions.  

• Build and maintain good client relationships.  

• Be responsible for subcontract letting, negotiation and financial accounting.  

• Prepare applications for payment.  

• Liaise with the client, client representatives and other third parties on commercial issues, including agreement of variations.
