Quantity Surveyor

Our Client is a tier 1 main contractor that works in the water sector and they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with Clean Water experience to join their team in Bournemouth on either Permanent or Contract basis.  

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting the site teams across a range of sectors of projects. The initial project you will join is in Bournemouth.  

Your day to day will include:  

• Working alongside the project delivery team, you will ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors.  

• Having exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery.  

• You will manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement and be involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome.  

• Ideally you will have experience from a similar role within the construction industry  

• You'll be proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel  

• NEC Contract experience is desirable
