Mechanical Project Engineers

Mechanical Project Engineers required to join a successful main contractor in the Water sector with a demonstrable background of working within Water Treatment sites.  

Job Description:  

Includes the design of waste water M&E assets eg. Pumping Stations, CSO`s & associated civil structures etc.  

This role will also include:  

- Equipment sizing & selection (pumps, mixers, pipework etc).  

- TMA, NRSWA coordination.  

- Early site investigation works coordination.  

- Early procurement of materials.  

- Attendance and input into internal and client design reviews.  

- Involvement with cost to complete / budget reviews with the contract delivery teams.  

- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.  

- Preparation & management of project programmes.  

Experience Required:  

- upgrading of water treatment works in the UK;  

- pulling together work packages;  

- taking a problem statement and defining a solution;  

- taking projects from concept to delivery;  

Qualifications  

- HNC or higher within Mechanical Engineering discipline  

- Membership within a relevant professional body is desirable  

- CSCS, card
