Sub Agent

Our client is principle contractor working on rail/civils projects throughout the UK. They are currently seeking a Sub Agent to join their team in their Hampshire office on permanent basis.  

The right candidate will be part of a fast paces work environment on a range of multi-discipline civil engineering projects across a range of sectors, including rail – bridge engineering, station refurbs, platforms and tunnel across the Western region.  

Responsibilities:  

• Setting out and surveying works on site when necessary  

• Management if subcontractors and engineers  

• Supervision of site layout, plant and subcontractors  

• Revie project drawings and specifications for site-based works  

• Responsible for health, environmental and quality on site  

• Delivery of contract within programme and budget  

• Monitoring of contract progression to make sure contract objectives are met.

• PTS  

• SMSTS  

• Experience as a Section Engineer/Senior Engineer or Sub Agent in a rail contracting environment  

• Degree/HNC or HND in civil engineering
