Site Manager

Our client is a market leader within the Rail sector. With over 80 years’ experience in the Rail Sector they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join them across the North West.  

Job Description:  

They are keen to recruit and train motivated, enthusiastic and committed people to join their multi-disciplinary specialist teams. They are currently looking to recruit a Site Manager who will be involved in the daily management and production of all the construction activities on a specific site which include the following duties:  

• Daily toolbox talks  

• Daily and weekly planning  

• Resource planning including materials and equipment  

• Managing of in-house teams and sub-contractors  

• Compiling work package planes and method statements  

• Site administration including site diary, timesheets, and plant returns etc.  

• Management of the works and solving of technical issues  

• Managing health and safety including the reporting thereof

• A construction or civil engineering qualification  

• Proven experience as a Site Manger on rail projects  

• Exposure to large civil engineering railway projects  

• Experience in managing teams and subcontractors simultaneously  

• A quick thinking problem solver
