Site Agent

My client is looking for a Site Agent who comes from a strong Rail background. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work for a Key Player in the Rail Sector working on major projects. This role is located in Birmingham.  

Job Description:  

Some of the main responsibilities include:  

• Reviewing the MCS (master construction schedule) against Contractor submitted PFA. Review with Package Managers and Contractors. Ensure alignment where required.  

• Reviewing forthcoming works and drafting TQ’s as required.  

• Read and become conversant with the project specifications. Ensure the works are complaint against these.  

• Review ITP’s against project specifications and ensure compliance.  

• Review and ensure coordination of drawings.  

• On site review, monitoring and recording of progress.  

• Short and medium term planning. Produce programmes and monitor progress against them.  

• Monitor works against the MCS and record progress.  

• Review and track sign off sheets for works completed in accordance with the project requirements.

• Network Rail experience  

• Engineering background  

• Main contractor background  

• Worked on Bridges/Structures background  

• Valid PTS
