Job description
Our rail client is looking for a Signalling Project Manager for their office in Cheshire, must have extensive knowledge of signalling systems, strong project Management and leadership skills.
Some of the main duties for this role include:
• Ability to work closely with clients, contractors and internal team
• Stakeholder management
• Monitor project’s budget and expenses
• Closely track financial expenditure
• Implement cost saving measures but ensure quality is still high
• Lead team in implementing signalling systems, ensuring health & safety standards are met
• Identify risks and mitigate any potential issues and delays
• Manage resources effectively
• Support project objectives and timelines
• Must have clear communication skills
• Provide guidance and motivate team
Requirements
Essential Experience:
• 5 years or more experience in a Project Manager role, especially within rail/signalling
• In depth knowledge of signalling systems, including testing, design, installation and commissioning
• Proven track record successfully managing rail projects to from cradle to grave
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Initiate implementation of necessary steps to resolve any issues
