Senior Project Manager

Our client, a mainline signalling service provider is looking for a Senior Projects Manager with signalling experience to work on a rail framework across the UK on a Permanent or Outside IR35 (hybrid) . This role is hybrid with site visits and at times you will be expected to attend in office meetings where required for client meetings. Long term projects that is expected to continue for several years.  

Job Description:  

Duties:  

• Manage scope of project and scheduling  

• Strong commercial awareness and cost control management  

• Ability to forecast issues and provide solutions  

• Excellent communication skills  

• Work with stakeholders, must be able to collaborate and accomplish mutual understanding of scope  

• Develop client relationships  

• Management of third-party suppliers  

• Lead team meetings

• Extensive experience within the rail sector and delivering of projects  

• APM membership and/or membership of relevant professional institution  

• Experience developing and building on client relationships  

• Must have high level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft office and MS Project  

• Ability to negotiate
