Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a principle contractor working civils projects across the UK, this role is for a Quantity Surveyor located in London. The right candidate must have a valid driver’s license with good site experience and the ability to travel to various sites when necessary. Training will be provided along the way to ensure progression; this company is willing to invest in long term development.  

Duties:  

• Pricing and ensuring estimates are submitted accurately and on time  

• Resolving pricing issues with clients  

• Client Liaison  

• Liaison with Site Managers to collate information on day to day remits,  

• Subcontractor management  

• Change management and early warnings  

• Contract administration (NEC/NR forms of contract)  

• CVR’s  

• Final accounting  

• Monitor cash flow and valuation plan  

• Manage all financial information  

• Produce forecasts  

• Work with Commercial Project Manager and together be accountable for the cost-effectiveness of project  

• Implement appropriate measures for commercial strategy to ensure delivery of required margins  

• Make sure each sub-contractor account is managed strictly in accordance with their terms and conditions

- BSc in Quantity Surveying, HNC or equivalent experience  

- Strong rail and civils background  

- Liaising with clients  

- Final accounting  

- Sub contract management  

- NEC and NR contract knowledge
