Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a multidiscipline rail/civils contractor with projects across the UK and Ireland. The role is for someone looking for long term career progression, personal development and the chance to work on large scale projects.  

Duties:  

• Monitor cash flow and valuation plan  

• Ensure all  

• Manage all financial information  

• Produce forecasts  

• Work with Commercial Project Manager and together be accountable for the cost-effectiveness of project  

• Implement appropriate measures for commercial strategy to ensure delivery of required margins  

• Make sure each sub-contractor account is managed strictly in accordance with their terms and conditions

Essential Experience:  

• BSc in Quantity Surveying/equivalent or experience  

• NEC 3 and/or NEC 4 knowledge and experience  

• Understanding of Network Rail contract suite  

• Collating costs  

• Maximising value  

• Ability to work as part of a team across disciplines  

• Previous experience in contractor setting within rail  

• Have or/are working towards professional accreditation
