Severn Trent Water has announced its chosen consultants for their AMP6 and AMP7 engineering consultancy framework. Those selected onto the framework include Atkins, Jacobs UK and MWH. The contract, which started in August 2013, supports the feasibility stages of Severn Trent Water’s investment programme through AMP6 and AMP7. It will run for ten years and is valued between £8m and £25m per annum.
Severn Trent’s Water Services Director, Andy Smith, said “These consultants have proved they are the organisations that we want to build our future partnership with, displaying strengths that will help us deliver excellent service to our customers. These new partnerships are about being an integrated team, delivering our objectives to achieve common goals. We welcome Atkins Ltd, MWH UK Ltd and Jacobs UK Ltd and we look forward to working together.”
Capital Delivery Director for Thames Water, Lawrence Gosden, said “ By assembling the best team, we will give ourselves the best chance of success, so our focus is on business alignment, quality and value.”
This ten year framework agreement will see the companies working together to shape the investment programme going forwards.
