Floodex UK

The show is going from strength to strength, with a record number of visitors in 2023 and already 20% ahead on pre-registrations for the same time last year. The organizers have added more stands to the floor plan, to accommodate increased levels of enquiries and expect to see nearly 100 companies represented.

Floodex  and the Waterways Management Show are seeing some fantastic exhibitors and support for 2024, both old and new. The Canal and River Trust, Inland Waterways Assoc (IWA) and The River Restoration Centre  will be supporting the Waterways Management part of the show, whilst Aquamaintain and British Hovercraft company will both have craft on display.

The Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC), will be supporting the event. The SLCC is the professional body for local council clerks and senior council employees for over 5,000 local councils in England and Wales and will be valuable in getting advice and information out to people who might otherwise miss it.

Since launching Floodex in 2016, the organizers have always had the idea that an event should be staged that takes a more holistic approach to flooding and water level management, which is why the National Drainage Show was launched, as 70% of flood incidents are caused by surface water runoff.

Waterways Management was added to address the wider aspect of catchment areas and highlight not just the water level issues, but also the health of our waterways and how careful management can help alleviate flooding. With this in mind, we are very pleased that the River Restoration Centre will be one of our exhibitors, alongside Canal & River Trust and IWA with their Fund Britain's Waterways campaign.
