Job description
Our client is a major design, engineering and project management consultancy who has been rapidly growing within various sectors and who is looking for a Project Controller to join them on permanent basis in Bristol.
Job Description:
Your purpose:
- Help establish the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and support the project on the monthly collation of progress data related to time, cost, risk, and quality for monthly business reporting.
- Support the Project Manager/Director by providing specialist advice and technical knowledge to respond to delays, issues, and other challenges throughout the project.
- Administer Project Control activities, conduct audits, assurance checks of contractors' monthly data submissions and ensure the submissions are fully assessed and are paid in line with the project KPI’s.
- Support the administration of trend/forecast reporting and the Baseline Change Management of the agreed
- project budget, ensuring that all changes are correctly attributed and charged accordingly.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of monthly performance reports to the project lead, in line with business reporting requirements and timescales, to enable prompt decision making, approvals and financial forecasting.
- Provide guidance and corrective actions to teams to ensure the quality of task submissions and reporting of costs.
- Attend monthly reviews and other meetings as required.
Requirements
- Technical Competencies - Primavera P6 proficient.
- Minimum of 3 years experience within a project environment supporting the Project Manager/Director.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience of interacting with internal and external clients.
- Behavioural Competencies:
