IT Asset Manager

This contract with our central government client is for an IT Asset Manager for 12 Months based in Manchester / Blackpool 2 days a week in the office.  

You will be helping to drive the client's priorities to:  

• Run an effective welfare system that enables people to achieve financial independence by providing assistance and guidance into employment.  

• Increase saving for, and security in later life.  

• Create a fair and affordable welfare system which improves the life chances of children.  

• Deliver outstanding services to their customers and claimants.  

• Deliver efficiently: transform the way they deliver their services to reduce costs and increase productivity.  

As a IT Asset Manager, your main responsibilities will be:  

• Work with existing Desktop Hardware Asset management team to onboard new industry  

• asset management processes  

• Increase capacity to allow end to end Desktop Hardware Asset Management  

• Help integrate and improve each new service processes.  

• Create supporting documentation / reporting creation.  

• Collaborate with wider desktop hardware asset management team and support day to day process focusing on one or more service lines.  

• Experience working with Large Gov Dept  

• Experience working Hardware Asset Management  

• Experience with Asset management functionality in ServiceNow
