Mechanical Commissioning Manager

Our client is a major tier 1 main contractor that works in the energy and civils markets across the UK, due to recent project wins they now have several fantastic opportunities and are recruiting for a Mechanical / Process Plant & Equipment Commissioning Manager.  

Project Information:  

• The project is delivering new specialist workshop facilities of national strategic importance  

• They have a group of 10 Commissioning Managers covering all systems to be delivered included the system full integrated testing  

Some of the main responsibilities for this role include:  

• Lead, manage and witness the commissioning of critical equipment  

• Review and comment on Contractors test documentation  

• Work well as a team member to deliver the commissioning activities and the associated documentation  

• Advise contractors on the effective commissioning of process plant and equipment  

• Manage the delivery of contractor test documentation  

• Advise, check and comment on contractors proposed test documentation  

• Witness on-site and off-site testing for and on behalf of the Client  

• Report on commissioning progress
