GTR stands for Govia Thameslink Railway, and includes Southern, Thameslink, Great Northern and Gatwick Express. Govia is a partnership between the Go-Ahead Group and Keolis.
GTR is the UK’s largest railway franchise, managing four train operating companies in the south of England.
GTR is made up of a variety of roles where they can make a difference to people and communities on the network, from engineering roles and train drivers to station managers.
From April 2019, GTR are publishing a new measure of train punctuality as part of national plans to improve train service performance, reduce delays and increase transparency with ‘to the minute’ punctuality data. It is known as ‘On time’ and records punctuality at each station along a journey.
