Possessions Planner

Our client is a Rail Contractor looking for an experienced Possessions Planner with line possessions experience, to lead planning and develop processes and structures throughout the business. This role is located in the West Midlands.  

Duties:  

• Coordinate and manage line blocks/possession within Network Rail’s Southern Region  

• Must be self-assured and confident to challenge any issues  

• Identifying opportunities to streamline and plan multiple sites efficiently  

• Ensuring compliance with Network Rail’s 019 standard  

• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team including Project Managers and external clients  

• Plan and create Safe System of work plans

Essential Experience:  

• PTS  

• SSOWP  

• MS Excel  

• Proven rail experience  

• Understanding of Network Rail standards  

• Knowledge and experience of Network Rail’s Possession Panning System (PPS)  

• Experience planning in Network Rail’s Southern Region
