Job description

This is a great opportunity to join a major Civil Engineering contractor. They specialise in Transportation, Highways and major Civil Engineering projects. They are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor, HSE to join them in Hampshire or Kent on a permanent basis.  

The right candidate will be able to drive Health & Safety initiatives across multi-discipline rail/civils projects and contribute new ideas and suggestions to develop Health & Safety across the company.  

 

Duties  

• Conducting audits, accident investigations and inspections  

• Engaging with clients and stake holders  

• Site visits and working with multi discipline team, making sure responsibilities are clear and answering Health & Safety related questions  

• Executing Health & Safety procedures on site, ensuring compliance  

• Ability to keep updated on key legislation changes  

• Excellent organisational skills  

• Strong technical knowledge across Health & Safety legislation, regulations and compliance  

• Ability to work collaboratively  

• Must be proactive in developing new ideas

Requirements

• Strong rail background  

• NEBOSH  

• CSCS  

• PTS  

• IOSH  

• Drivers License
