Job description

Our client is principle contractor working on rail/civils projects throughout the UK. The right candidate will be part of a fast paces work environment on a range of multi-discipline civil engineering projects across a range of sectors, including rail – bridge engineering, station refurbs, platforms and tunnel across the Western region.  

 

Some of the main duties for this role include:  

• Programme Planning and management  

• Commercial Planning  

• Implement ideas and manage preparation of early warning and change instruction in collaboration with commercial team  

• Client liaison, including building and maintaining relationships with client representatives, attending regular client framework progress meetings, commercial meetings and design coordination meetings  

• Responsible for management of safety, health, environment & quality matters across the framework

Requirements

• Previously held contracts manager level position for a multi-disciplinary rail contractor organisation or a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager looking for career progression  

• Contractual experience with NEC or bespoke NR forms of contract  

• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders  

• Must have rail and civil engineering project experience  

• BSc/BEng qualification in civil engineering  

• Chartered member or affiliation to ICE
