Job description

Our Client is a leading UK construction and infrastructure services company, they provide specialist design and build capabilities. They currently have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join them in their London office.  

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a project based role, joining a team to support them in the growth of the project.  

 

Some of the main duties include:  

• Supporting Bid Manager  

• Putting Tenders together  

• Providing Estimates  

• Pricing works

Requirements

• Strong Construction or Civils background  

• Measure works carried out and reconcile to Target Cost;  

• Administer and enforce business commercial procedures;  

• Prepare Monthly and final applications for payment;  

• Placing and subsequent financial management of sub-contract agreements;  

• Provide assistance, guidance and support to the operational teams in the areas of: Contract Compliance, the financial impact of decisions; Value maximisation/cost saving techniques; Procurement strategy
