BIM Construction Manager

Our client is a Tier 1 main contractor and they are looking for a BIM Construction Manager to join their build Team based in the Newcastle or Leeds areas.  

As a BIM Construction Manager, you'll be working within the Digital Team, focussing on enabling the use of appropriate tools and technologies to support project delivery from inception to in use  

Your day to day will include:  

- Support and audit the project team to ensure standards, methods and procedures using specified software / workflows are in use  

- Ensuring Exchange Information Requirements and Asset Information Requirements are responded to and delivered across relevant project(s)  

- Promoting digital strategies that are implemented across the business and projects and provide feedback to Senior Digital Construction Manager to ensure progress is being made and commitment to documentation is being observed  

- Responsible for contributing to monthly reports to identify and measure digital implementation within the business unit and across projects  

This role of BIM Construction Manager is great for you if you:  

- Can discuss in detail open BIM standards such as IFC and COBie to support information interoperability  

- Experience of appropriate software tools to view and interrogate models  

- Has good understanding of the ISO 19650 series of documents  

- Proficient skills in standard Microsoft Office 365
